Empowered over their fields, empowered over their lives (2012)

After twenty years of war, the displaced people of northern Uganda are moving from emergency to recovery. This video highlights various initiatives — including Farmer Field and Life Schools (FFLS) and Junior Farmer Field and Life Schools (JFFLS) — through which FAO is working with these communities to address food insecurity, rebuild livelihoods, and mitigate the impact of HIV/AIDS, conflict and gender inequities.
