FAO and FIMI: Partnering for Indigenous Women, Human Rights, Food and Nutrition Security

In 2015, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) partnered with the International Indigenous Women's Forum, or FIMI, as it is known, to implement a program on "Human Rights, Food and Nutrition Security" under the umbrella of the Indigenous Women’s Global Leadership School. The program was implemented from May 2015 to March 2016, and benefitted 84 indigenous women in Bolivia, India, the Philippines and Peru.
