Strengthening agricultural adaptation to climate change in Senegal – part 2

When women have the same access as men to productive resources and services, they can significantly increase the yields on their farms and adapt to a changing climate.  Tapping into the knowledge and capacity of women and having women at the table represent significant opportunities to develop new, effective climate change solutions for the benefit of all.

Ensuring food security and nutrition in the age of climate change is one of the most important challenges for the coming years. Funded by the Ministry of International Relations and Francophonie of Quebec (MRIF), SAGA is a multi-stakeholder collaboration project led by FAO, to strengthen the resilience of the agricultural sectors for sustainable development in Senegal and Haiti.
