Rome-Based Agencies’ (RBAs) virtual event to close the 16 days of activism against gender-based violence (GBV) campaign. The webinar focuses on the rise in gender-based violence in the context of COVID-19. Since the beginning of pandemic, the incidence of GBV has increased across the world, in some countries doubling compared to the 2019 levels. Eliminating GBV is crucial, not only because it violates human rights, but also because it fuels food insecurity and poverty.
