Alternative Approaches to Collateral to Increase Rural Women’s Access to Finance

Virtual Event, 13/03/2024

In many developing countries, women in agrifood systems continue to face challenges in accessing financial services, despite their significant contribution to food production. There are many factors that contribute to this, including the collateral requirements of financial institutions.

This event will offer a platform to discuss alternative approaches for sharing and managing risk that can help overcome the financial constraints women face. It will also give the opportunity to share experiences and insights on the challenges and gaps that limit the adoption of these approaches.
