In light of the staggering rise in acute food insecurity across the world, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) are pleased to invite you to a series of joint monthly briefings on the global food security situation. These briefings will be an opportunity to share the latest updates on the levels of acute food security worldwide and hold more in-depth discussions on the situation in specific countries and/or regions.

Our May briefing will present the 2022 Global Report on Food Crises and put forward global solutions to address the increasing levels of food insecurity worldwide.
