In the context of the Asia-Pacific Symposium on Agrifood Systems Transformation (Hybrid, Bangkok, 5-7 October 2022), the Climate Change and Resilience Module of the FAO Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific is organizing a side event on  “Developing climate resilient agri-food system projects and policies- FAO Tools and experiences from Asia and Pacific”.

This session will highlight experiences from Asia and the Pacific using integrated modelling, participatory approaches and foresight methods to develop climate resilient agri-food system projects and policies. The FAO NSL Geospatial Unit will share experience related to the use of AEZ and PyAEZ as tools and methods for formulating climate responsive agriculture policies, planning and project development in Asia.
