A stakeholder consultation on the identification and prioritization of geospatial indicators for monitoring the progress of the Forest and Farm Facility (FFF) in Nepal was organized on 25 July 2022. This consultation brought together stakeholders from the Ministry of Forests and Environment (MoFE), Forest Research and Training Center (FRTC) and several forest and farm producer organizations (FFPOs) in Nepal. The participants were facilitated in small groups to identify and prioritize geospatial indicators along with associated challenges and opportunities in consideration of relevance, data quality and availability, GIS/RS skill, technical capacity, methodologies, etc. The final list of indicators will be used in operationalization of a monitoring system to track progress of the FFF efforts to landscape scale mitigation, adaptation and resilience for climate change in Nepal.
