This analysis focuses on the Gezira Irrigation Scheme, one of the largest irrigation systems globally, and is vital for producing crops and food for Sudan. This study employs an innovative methodology to generate accurate crop-type maps in affected regions where traditional data collection is infeasible.
These findings aim to guide stakeholders in agricultural planning and crisis management, emphasizing the importance of sustaining farming activities and mitigating food insecurity in Sudan.
