The Vanuatu Department of Forestry seeks to develop in-house capacity to generate activity data for their emissions calculations for both the historical and performance period. This hands-on training instructs on the use of the SEPAL cloud computing platform to conduct time-series analysis and map land use change continuously over time. It will also include sessions on the accuracy of activity data area estimates and unbiased area estimates with confidence intervals. The aim of this workshop is to empower Vanuatu to produce activity data and a second forest reference level submission indpendently.
