The Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation approved a proposal to set an export quota of 25.5 million tonnes on wheat, meslin, rye, barley and maize for countries outside the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), between 15 February and 30 June 2023. For the same period in 2022, the quota on cereals exports was set at 11 million tonnes, including an 8 million tonnes limit on wheat and meslin exports (FPMA Food Policies).
