The Government of India increased the minimum support price (MSP) for the 2015 winter wheat crop, currently being planted, by 3,6 percent, to 1,450 Rupees (USD 23,60) per 100 Kg. The MSP is revised every year in order to support agricultural production and farmers’ incomes.
