Argentina increases grain transport costs

The Government of the Buenos Aires province has authorized an increase of up to 23.25 percent of transport costs for cereals, oilseeds and respective sub products. The Government, who regulates transport costs, has taken this measure following increased operating costs, particularly for fuel. Buenos Aires is the largest producer of soybeans, wheat and maize in Argentina, and the principal maritime port in the country.
