The FAO/WHO GIFT platform now has 22 datasets available.

You can now have access to 7 nationwide datasets from the Philippines, Lao People's Democratic Republic, Italy, Romania, India and two datasets from Bulgaria.

Furthermore, you can now access 15 sub-national surveys from Bolivia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Pakistan, Guatemala, India, the United Republic of Tanzania, Ethiopia, Burkina Faso, Bangladesh, Uganda, Zambia, Argentina and three surveys from Kenya.

The datasets from Bulgaria, Romania, India and Ethiopia were shared in partnership with the Global Dietary Database at Tufts University.

Go to the Data and indicators section to explore the available data. You can either click on “Indicators” to access ready-to-use infographics, or click on “Download” to download the full microdata of the surveys for further analysis.

More information on each dataset is available as a full metadata report using the “Metadata” button on the Indicators’ page, and also on the inventory of existing surveys worldwide.

We hope these datasets are useful for your work in the areas of food consumption, food safety and nutrition. If you have any questions regarding the data shared, or if you are a data owner interested in sharing your own data, please get in touch: [email protected].
