This publication portrays a forward-looking scenario for food and agriculture from 1997–99 to 2030. Supply and demand of main agricultural commodities, natural resource and fertilizer use are projected under moderate economic growth assumptions and given population dynamics. It updates previous FAO projections of food and agriculture published in 1995.
