Regional Soil Laboratory Networks
Countries are organized into Regional Soil Laboratory Networks (RESOLANs), the skeleton of GLOSOLAN. After the successful establishment of the Regional Soil Laboratory Networks for Asia (SEALNET) in 2017, Latin America (LATSOLAN) in 2018, and the Pacific (ASPAC), Africa (AFRILAB), Europe and Eurasia (EUROSOLAN) in 2019, GLOSOLAN successful launched the Regional Soil Laboratory Network for the Near East and North Africa (NENALAB) on 9 June 2020.
Pacific Soil Laboratory Network (ASPAC)
The Pacific Soil Laboratory Network (ASPAC) was established under the existing Australasian Soil and Plant Analysis Council (ASPAC) in 2019. The inclusion of Pacific Island and Papua New Guinea laboratories in ASPAC ensures the long-term sustainability of the network, granting laboratories local technical assistance and increasing their possibility to improve their performance by participating in extra-GLOSOLAN activities.
Laboratories in ASPAC meet yearly to revise their work plan and position within GLOSOLAN.
Countries in ASPAC
Australia, Cook Islands, Fiji, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, New Zealand, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tokelau, Tonga, Tuvaly, Vanuatu
