Multi-donor Trust Fund project (MUL)
The objective of the MUL is to support the implementation of the GSP activities through Healthy Soils Facility by implementing various activities associated with its work plan
Multi-donor Trust Fund projects (MUL) aim to support the implementation of the Global Soil Partnership Plans of Action and the Healthy Soils Facility by implementing various activities, including strengthening soil governance, promote sustainable soil management practices to better support food security and nutrition, and developing capacities on sustainable soil management at the national, regional and global levels. Efforts were undertaken to develop global maps of soil organic carbon sequestration potential and soil salinity, in addition to a report on the global status of black soils and a global assessment of soil pollution. The projects additionally supported the organization of international events that raised awareness on soil resources and management. Through the promotion of sustainable soil management around the globe, the project aimed to enhance environmental and human well-being.
