Soil, the key element for food security

The Mexican Society of Soil Science and the College of Postgraduates invite researchers, academics, students, entrepreneurs, producers and general public, interested in the areas of Soil Science to take part to the XLII National Congress of Soil Science, to be held from the 6th to the 10th of November 2017 in Montecillo, State of Mexico.

Justification

The current situation leads to frequent episodes of drought, flood and related socioeconomic problems in a scenario of unpredictable and disconcerting climate change. For this reason, the interested parties are urged to actively participate in this congress in order to combine efforts for the conservation of the natural resources of Mexico with the national social welfare.

Objectives

The celebration of the XLII National Congress of Soil Science aims to bring together scientists, technical professionals, students, entrepreneurs and agricultural and forestry producers for the rational and efficient use of soil resources. Sharing the results of new studies and researches will shed light on th path towards sustainable development.

Call for Abstract

In order to disseminate and exchange research results, participants may submit abstracts (maximum per author) of no more than 300 words (without pictures or figures). The structure of the abstract should include: Introduction, Objective, Materials and Methods, Results as well as the Conclusion. The contributions will be presented orally or in a poster in accordance to the Editorial Committee.
