The Thai Soil Partnership (TSP), established in March 2019, is composed of government, private, academic, religious, civil society, media and public sectors. The partnership aims to provide a platform for knowledge and experience exchange on soil resources, as well as to create activities and guidelines for the sustainable management of soil resources across the country, linking to the Regional Soil Partnership and the Global Soil Partnership.

The Global Soil Partnership bids a fond farewell to Prof. Mohamed Badraoui, an eminent soil expert who has been serving in the first Intergovernmental Technical Panel of Soil from 2013 to 2015.
The Global Soil Partnership is recruiting professionals with different profiles and relevant expertise on Sustainable Soil Management. The candidates will be supporting the development, quality control and effective implementation of FAO’s soil portfolio including the Global Soil Partnership work plan through the provision of expertise in relevant technical areas including project formulation and implementation to support member countries.
The Global Soil Partnership Plenary Assembly (PA) constitutes the main venue where all GSP partners come together to make important decisions about the global soil agenda. The 7th PA of the Global Soil Partnership will take place at FAO headquarters in Rome from 5 to 7 June 2019.
