Over three days, attendees will engage in Ministerial Dialogues, thematic sessions, and side events, all designed to promote innovative approaches and best practices in soil and water management.

The forum will focus on four key themes:

  • Managing water scarcity,
  • Reversing land degradation and boosting restoration,
  • Sustainable soil management,
  • Integrated climate-resilient land, soil, and water management.

The event aims to reinforce commitments to sustainable resource management, highlight successful innovations, and identify research priorities and gaps. With a special focus on engaging youth and fostering partnerships, the forum will culminate in a joint agenda for action, setting the stage for a more sustainable and resilient future.

Researchers and practitioners are invited to share their work by submitting abstracts on land, soil, and water management by 15 September 15 2024. Proposals for side events on sustainable practices are also invited by the same deadline.
