With a significant agricultural sector representing almost 25% of GDP, Madagascar is focused on developing four value chains, working with the Hand-in-Hand Initiative to attract private investors. Along with national investments, the National Government is aiming to meet the local demand and increase exports for rice, corn, livestock and small ruminants.
