The national legend was prepared using the Land Cover Classification System (LCCS) a FAO's comprehensive, standardized 'a priori' classification system.
With training and adequate investment, food losses can be significantly reduced. It is what FAO did in Afghanistan, distributing 50,000 silos distributed to 50,000 beneficiaries in the whole country. The project was funded by the governments of Germany and Japan.
