Guidance in support of adaptation planning

Component 4 aims to support governments to plan climate change adaptation, based on information from Components 1, 2 and 3. This Component also aims to support mechanisms to institutionalize impact assessments and vulnerability analysis, and subsequent adaptation planning for climate change and food security.

In AMICAF-SSC (South-South Cooperation), quantitative analyses is not be implemented, but the capacities of local partner institutions in the recipient country are developed. This is done through training workshops supported by experts from the AMICAF 1^st phase country.

Workshops for policy and planning support for climate change adaptation and food security are also organized.

AMICAF-SSC, Component 4 is only applicable in Indonesia.
