Building capacity related to Multilateral Environmental Agreements in African, Caribbean and Pacific countries (ACP MEAs 3)

The Hive

The Hive is an informal virtual café where you can meet up with colleagues, visit representatives of organizations working on pollinators, or simply wander round and chat with other participants.

The Hive will “open” on Wednesday 23 February at 15:45 CET (the first long break in the seminar programme), and will be available 24 hours a day during the two days of the seminar, to allow participants from other time zones to meet.

Using The Hive platform is very intuitive.

  • When you first enter, you will be requested to allow access to your webcam and microphone, so others can see and hear you
  • Next you take a photo with your webcam and enter your name, to create your Avatar
  • Then you indicate where you work
  • And you are in!

This short video guide introduces you to the platform we are using for The Hive, and during the first time tabled sessions help will be available if you need it.

Please note: the platform only works on laptops and desktops, not on mobile devices.

If you would like to “book a table” to present a pollinator-related initiative or organization, please contact us at: [email protected]

Organizations will be manning their ‘tables’ at various times in the Programme:
