The ECO HQs, in collaboration with FAO, has organized a three-day CountrySTAT advanced administrator training workshop for the national CountrySTAT teams from ECO member countries.

The objectives of the workshop was to provide the participants with an advanced training on the new CountrySTAT System based on cutting-edge open-source technology FENIX. In particular, the workshop focused on:

• Statistics module of CountrySTAT and the imputation methodology for missing data
• Food Balance Sheet module
• IT module and the new CountrySTAT system.

The workshop provided a platform for the participants to assess the current situation, identify possible gaps and future needs, and has made recommendations to further promote the use and visibility of CountySTAT at regional and national levels.
