Upcoming EAF-Nansen Project Forum
From 17 to 18 October 2016, the EAF-Nansen project Forum will be held in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire. The Project Forum provides an opportunity for progress reporting, dissemination of experiences, identification of best practices and discussion of strategies pertaining to the EAF-Nansen Project. The Forum also provides the means for partners to exchange views regarding the past and on proposals for future collaborative activities. The 2016 Forum is the last in this phase of the project. The new phase of the project (to be called the EAF-Nansen Programme) will begin in January 2017 with a new research vessel also to be called Dr Fridtjof Nansen. The science plan and the capacity development component of the new Programme will be discussed at the Forum.
