An interregional workshop on shared stocks management and the implementation of the ecosystem approach to fisheries in the context of the EAF-Nansen Programme was held in Dakar, Senegal from the 24 to 26 April 2018.
The specific aim of this meeting was to bring resource people from Northwest and Southwest Africa, to discuss the activities under the management outcome of the EAF-Nansen Programme as well as the related science questions and specifically to key priorities for support in relation of the management of shared stocks.
The workshop was attended by 30 participants from seven partner countries and by Norway and FAO.
