This event is one of the three independent dialogues organized ahead of the UN Food Systems Summit, to highlight the importance of the aquatic foods to achieve food security. The event was co-hosted by WorldFish as well as the Global Action Network Sustainable Food from the Ocean and Inland Waters for Food Security and Nutrition. The EAF-Nansen Programme contributed to the debate with aspects of its work supporting partner countries in food and nutrition security through science, fisheries management and capacity development.
