FAO and Türkiye Partnership

Enhancing the visibility of the FAO-Turkey Partnership Programme (FTPP)

Project overview:

The project contributed to increasing the visibility of the Government of Turkey as FAO’s main resource partner in the subregion, and to disseminating the achievements of projects implemented under the FTPP.

Throughout the first phase, the visibility of projects and the overall programme was supported by audio-visual materials, news stories, outreach events, social media and numerous other information materials. Most of the communication materials were produced in three languages (English, Russian and Turkish) to increase the audience for information produced under the programme.

Several videos were produced to highlight the best results of the projects. Printed materials, including an FTPP Success Story brochure, project fact sheets and annual newsletters, were widely distributed at various events and across the subregion.

Outreach events, including photography exhibitions and field visits, provided an opportunity for information exchange among technical experts and government officials in Turkey and countries in Central Asia and Caucasus. In most of the projects, good practices and know-how in Turkey were shared with national counterparts, to highlight Turkish expertise in agriculture.
