Monitoring is integral to fruitful forest and landscape restoration, yet guidance on how to do so is currently lacking. The Restoration Monitoring Tools Guide, developed by Climate Focus and WRI in collaboration with the FAO-led Monitoring Task Force of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration, provides instructions on choosing tools and establishing a system to maximize monitoring activities. 

Based on The Restoration Monitoring Tools Guide, the webinar uses real-world case studies, the ToolFinder app and FAO-developed tools to educate on the essential steps for effective monitoring.
