As the World Food Forum approaches, the Global Network of Digital Agriculture Innovation Hubs is preparing to bring together a group of influential figures in the field of digital agriculture and innovation to Rome. We will be presenting three exciting stories on the main stage of the Global Youth Forum on 18 October at 9:00.

Leading the Digital Pole for Agriculture in Morocco, Professor Loubna El Mansouri will shed light on the role of government support in digitalisation, particularly the impact on the livelihoods of young and female farmers. Her insights will talk about the ongoing initiatives in Morocco and their nexus with the Digital Agriculture Innovation Hubs.

Ethiopia, known for its rich coffee heritage, tourist attractions and cultural wealth, also holds immense potential to be a leader in entrepreneurship and innovation on the African continent. Henok Laike, Manager of Business Development and Innovation Services at the Ethiopian Entrepreneurship Development Centre, will share his perspective and experiences on the pivotal role of initiatives such as the Digital Agriculture Innovation Hubs in catalysing technological advancement, fostering innovation, developing skills and promoting entrepreneurship in the agrifood sector for young farmers and women.

To conclude our event, we will welcome Bevon Chadel Charles from Grenada. As a young woman farmer and visionary founder of Akata Farms, Bevon has pioneered an integrated, self-sustaining model of farming based on the principles of healthy food, community engagement and creating opportunities for young farmers. Her presence will highlight the remarkable success story of integrating information and communication technologies (ICT) into her agricultural enterprise within the Grenada ecosystem.

Join us for this important moment and exchange ideas with our speakers to highlight the important role of Digital Agriculture Innovation Hubs as transformation agents in creating a world with better production, better nutrition, better environment and better life, with the unwavering goal of leaving no one behind.
