FAO and the World Bank co-organized an event on 22 June 2017 as part of the World Bank's Watershed Global Solutions Group Watershed Days series (22-28 June 2017). The event intended to be an opportuntiy to showcase the work of organizations involved with various aspects of watershed management to present innovations in investments, institutions and information. Together with participants from the Asian Development Bank, The Nature Conservancy, World Resources Institute, IPPRI and the US government, it aimed to generate a shared understanding of lessons, and explore greater synergies in the work ahead.

FAO participated to share their work on watershed management. FAO's Incentives for Ecosystem Services (IES) project presented how IES can finance watershed management and foster cross-sectoral collaboration.
