Steps
1. Bring milk, salt, and sugar to a boil. Remove from the heat, set aside and let it cool to lukewarm.
2. Pour the warm milk into the corn-meal stirring constantly to make a smooth mixture.
3. Add the eggs, anise seeds, and melted butter. Mix well.
4. Drop the batter by teaspoon into about 1/2 inch of medium hot vegetable oil, and fry until golden brown.
5. Drain on absorbent paper towels.
6. Serve hot.
