Ingredients
yams: 1 50
milk: 1/4 50
flour, roots: 1/4 50
baking powder: 1 31
egg, chicken, yolk: 1
salt, table: 1/2 31

Steps
1. Wash, peel and chop the tubers into small pieces. Place in a saucepan of water and boil until cooked.
2. Drain off the water and mash.
3. Combine with all other ingredients
4. Fold in 1 stiffly beaten egg.
5. Half fill the deep fat frying pan with oil.
6. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture into deep frying pan and cook until golden brown (cooking time approximately 8 - 10 minutes).
