Steps
1. If meat is used, prepare, season and boil until extruded water has almost boiled away; or prepare fish.
2. Add water and boil.
3. Wash, peel, slice and cut yam into pieces.
4. Add to fish or meat; add oil.
5. Wash and grind pepper, half onion, one tomato, crayfish and slice remaining onion and tomato.
6. Rinse ground crayfish in water to remove any sand; add to yam.
7. Add vegetables and salt, and cook until yam is almost done.
8. Wash and add coumarine. Wash spinach, cut into large pieces and add. Stir carefully.
9. Cook until all ingredients blend well, liquid thickens and meat or fish is soft.
10. Serve warm.

Comments
If bitterleaf is used, wash under running water, shake out surplus water, slice thin and add along with other ingredients.
