Biscuits

Ingredients
coconut: 10 27
margarine: 2 27
honey: 1 27
flour, roots: 2 50
egg, chicken: 1
sugar: 4 1/2 27
ngali nut: 1 50

Dish Type: Dessert

Cooking Time (minutes): average (30 minutes - 2 hours)
Steps
1. Cream the margarine and sugar together to form a smooth paste.
2. Beat the egg and add to the margarine / sugar mixture.
3. Add the flour and flavouring ( nuts, honey or coconut ), a little bit at a time, to the biscuit mixture. Mix well.
4. Knead the mixture into a stiff cough. Continue to knead for 10 minutes.
5. Roll out the dough until about 1/2 thick.
6. Cut out circular shapes using an upturned glass.
7. Place the dough circles on a lightly oiled baking tray.
8. Bake in a moderately hot oven ( 180?C ) for 20 - 25 minutes or until golden brown on the outside.
