Stakeholder engagement workshop in Sudan "Enhancing livelihoods of Gezira farming families through transformative partnerships between FAO, MoIWR and local institutions"

In the framework of the WaPOR project, FAO in collaboration with the Hydraulics Research Center (IWR) and local institutions from Sudan is organizing a workshop in Wad Medani, Sudan, to engage key stakeholders from the country.

They will discuss the following priorities: (i) Capacity building and nurturing young talent; (ii) Decision informing and impactful studies; (iii) Piloting and upscaling rehabilitation investments; (iv) Systematic generation and documentation of knowledge.
