Webinar on "Monitoring water productivity through WaPOR"

FAO organized a webinar for the staff of the World Bank on "Transforming agricultural water use through new technologies and innovations".

The aim was to present how the use of new technologies like WaPOR through satellite remote sensing, allows to calculate and distribute key data for monitoring and understanding water use in agriculture, providing governments with reliable information to support decisions and targeted interventions on more efficient use of water.
