Data validation training in Adama, Ethiopia

In November 2023, IHE Delft organized an WaPOR data validation training in Adama town near Adis Ababa, bringing together 27 participants from diverse backgrounds. This inclusive group represented government organizations, research institutes, universities, regional offices, and private sectors.

The comprehensive training, held from November 13 to 15, provided a blend of theoretical knowledge and hands-on practical exercises. Participants delved into the intricacies of WaPOR data validation, gaining valuable insights and skills.

Notably, the training session aimed at fostering diversity, with three women actively contributing to the cohort of 27 trainees. The event underscored the commitment to advancing knowledge and skills in water productivity assessment, paving the way for more empowered and skilled professionals in the domain.
