As part of its strategy to expand to new geographical areas, WaPOR has been presented at the webinar “Transforming Agricultural Water Use through mapping Water Productivity Innovative Tool (WaPOR)” organized today by the World Bank for Indian water experts.

The webinar provided information on how WaPOR tools can be used to support operations such as watershed management aspects, water balances requirements, and irrigation interventions.

Key Indian Institutes attended the webinar: the National Institute of Hydrology (NIH), the National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) and the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).
