Introductory training for Jordanian and Palestinian stakeholders

A brief 3-day introductory training was held in Amman, Jordan, between the 3rd and 5th July 2022, to provide 32 Jordanian stakeholders and 6 Palestinian with the basic skills needed to access and analyze WaPOR data. The training was conducted in collaboration with the project’s partners IWMI and IHE Delft and included a series of hands-on exercises that went from accessing and performing basic tasks with the data, to performing analysis on agricultural areas both in Palestine and Jordan. This training is the first installment in the series of capacity development initiatives that will equip national stakeholders to use WaPOR  data for their specific needs and priorities.
