New high-resolution areas in Egypt, Mozambique and Kenya available in WaPOR v3 portal
Three new high-resolution areas are now available on WaPOR v3 portal for the subnational level in Northern Egypt (Egypt), Baixo Limpopo (Mozambique), and Mwea, Tana and Bura (Kenya).
High-resolution areas (level 3) at 20 mt can be used to assess the functioning of irrigation systems to propose improvements. These areas are connected to project tools and solutions co-development and capacity building activities with partner countries.
The selection of high-resolution areas is agreed with stakeholders in project countries and aims to address the priority and needs of partner institutions at country level.
With these 4 entries, WaPOR now features more than 20 high-resolution areas.
