WaPOR at the European Geosciences Union 2020: sharing geoscience online

WaPOR was presented during the EGU (European Geosciences Union) 2020: Sharing Geoscience Online hosted from 4 to 8 May 2020, which brings part of the activities of the EGU General Assembly 2020 online.
This large virtual geoscience meeting gathers Earth, planetary and space scientists from around the world onto one platform to discuss their latest findings and discoveries in a wide variety of topic areas, ranging from water resources, natural hazards and climate to space and planetary science missions. VITO, member of the WaPOR FRAME Consortium, presented the work carried out on “Irrigated mapping in Africa and the Near East: physical based versus supervised classification".
