WaPOR at the International Symposium on the Use of Nonconventional Waters to Achieve Food Security

The International Symposium on the Use of Nonconventional Waters to Achieve Food Security, co-organized by FAO and the Government of Spain, will be held from 14 to 15 November 2019. It will gather water experts from all over the world including representatives from governments, international organizations, financial institutions, NGOs, universities, research institutions and private sector companies. It aims at strengthening a global community of practice to unlock the potential of nonconventional water resources to achieve food security in water scarce regions. WaPOR will be presented during the sympoium as a solution to improve productive use of water in agriculture.
