LaCSA use starts in Oudomxay and Luang Prabang to prevent the spreading to the pandemic

In collaboration with the project Assistance for Smallholders and Socially Vulnerable to Preventing Spread of the COVID-19 in Lao PDR financed by Japan, the SAMIS team has support a one day and half training to the provinces of Oudomxai and Luang Prabang.
Two trainings were organized. Within these trainings, one and a half days were dedicated to the training of LaCSA, that is available at the URL www.lacsa.net and as Android and Apple application.
A total of 64 people is now enabled to use the seasonal and weekly forecast for LaCSA, as well as the crop specific recommendations. In addition, the participants also learned how to read LaCSA weekly news at the loudspeakers.
