Celebrating the first agro-met TV broadcast
Starting from today, the Lao National Television broadcast LaCSA. Every Monday at 18.00h the Division of Weather Forecast is in charge of broadcasting either the seasonal forecast or the weekly bulletin, depending on the available data. This result has been achieved thanks to the request of H.E. Mr Sommad Pholsena, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment.
The weather broadcast is prepared by DMH officials every day at the DMH studio and sent to the television. Since now on, every Monday morning the Division of Climatology and Agro-meteorology will send to the Division of Weather Forecast bulletin information. The Division of Weather Forecast will prepare the broadcast inserting the additional info.
SAMIS will also undertake training and provide various support to the Division of Weather Forecast to help them developing the regular programme
