Making SHARP+ ready to report under the Paris Agreement

SHARP+ has been selected as a tool to report under the Paris Agreement's Enhanced Transparency Framework (ETF).

In collaboration with FAO's Office Office of Climate Change, Biodiversity and Environment, the SHARP team tailored SHARP+ to make it EFT ready. This implied fine-tuning SHARP+ to report on on the three components of climate change resilience:

exposure to a hazard
sensitivity to its effects and
adaptive capacity

The SHARP+ ETF version will support countries' reporting needs regarding how well their efforts to adapt to climate change have worked; and what support they have received or require. This information is captured in Biennial Transparency Reports (BTRs).
