Support for sustainable food production and enhancement of Food security and Climate Resilience in Burundi's Highlands  of the integrated approach pilot (IAP) program “Fostering Sustainability and Resilience for Food Security in Sub-Saharan Africa”,  aims at introducing and/or improving diversified agricultural production systems for sustainable food security and nutrition through an integrated sustainable landscape management approach (catchment wide) which includes strengthening or establishing sustainable food value chains and the conservation and sustainable use of agro-biodiversity at species and agro ecosystem level. SHARP will be providing the baseline for the project and integrating into the farmer field schools thereafter. Initial baseline assessments will start in March 2016.
