Through the SocPro4Fish project, and in collaboration with FAO Colombia, Invemar has strengthened the commercial, financial and livelihood management skills of Buenaventura's fishers' associations and fish marketers.
18 apprentices received certification in 'Budgeting for Personal Financial Management', a course dictated by SENA.
This course provided them with the tools to plan and organize their income and expenditure objectively, controlling risks and estimating their consumption. It will also enable them to set goals for a given period and improve their decision-making in managing their resources.
