The inception workshop in Niger was an opportunity to introduce the project to all national stakeholders and to share the project’s goal and objectives with the Nigerien authorities. Indeed, the General Secretary from the Ministry of Agriculture, Mr Illa Djmraou attended the workshop. The participants also shared the needs assessment methodology to identify priorities related to agricultural water management investments for poverty reduction in Niger.
